$1 Gear Auction at Scheimpflug Starts July 10th. Bid Low, Win Big

Tomorrow July 10th, Scheimpflug is opening our doors for a week-long $1 auction. 

Every single item on the list starts at just one dollar, and whoever's bid is highest when the clock runs out at the end of the week takes it home.  Everything up for grabs has been well cared for and is in good working condition, which makes this a rare shot at picking up professional-grade lighting, camera bodies, filters, and grip accessories for a fraction of retail. 

The best part? 30 % of all funds collected will go directly to the Alzheimer's Foundation, to support Alzheimer's care and support and accelerate research. So every bid you place helps a great cause too. 

On the lighting side, this auction is stacked with fixtures that have lit countless productions and are ready to keep working on yours.

• Two Arrisun 40/25s:  A workhorse HMI par that punches way above its size with compact, powerful daylight balanced output, a favorite for bouncing through windows or blasting through diffusion on location.

• Three 4K Fresnels and a 4K Daylight Fresnel: The classic tungsten and daylight fixtures every gaffer relies on for a smooth, controllable beam and soft-edged falloff.

• Three Arri 6K HMI Fresnels : Fixture you reach for when you need to overpower the sun or fill a massive space with clean daylight.

Every item starts at $1, and bidding is open for one full week starting July 10th. The highest bid when the auction closes wins the item, whether you're outfitting your first lighting kit, filling gaps in your grip truck, or just love a good deal.

All items are available for local pickup. Lighting gear can be picked up at our LIC location, while camera and accessories can be picked up at our Chelsea location. If you prefer to have it shipped instead,  that's an option too, just know that shipping costs will be covered by the winning bidder.
