The Canon 50mm Dream Lens, rehoused by Zero Optik in their state-of-the-art aircraft aluminum chassis, is one of the most iconic and sought-after lenses in filmmaking. Originally produced in the 1960s for Canon's rangefinder cameras, this legendary optic held the title of the world's fastest lens for nearly half a century, and its T0.95 maximum aperture still turns heads today. Shot wide open, it produces a signature soft, ethereal glow with exceptionally shallow depth of field and painterly bokeh that no modern lens can truly replicate. The Zero Optik rehousing brings it fully into the world of contemporary cinema, with silky smooth focus rotation, 110mm front diameter, and an LPL mount for compatibility with modern full-frame cinema cameras.
